Outdoor Fence Design.

The project reimagines the front boundary of the residence as a unified architectural composition, enhancing its relationship with the street through a careful balance of openness, privacy, and material expression. The intervention includes new vehicular and pedestrian gates, low perimeter walls, and a series of timber louvers that introduce warmth and texture while reinforcing the overall identity of the façade.

The intervention extends beyond the property line with the addition of vertical timber louvers along the porch. Acting as passive solar filters, these elements reduce direct sunlight while creating a constantly changing pattern of light and shadow. Together, the exterior and interior interventions establish a cohesive architectural identity that enhances both the visual character and environmental performance of the home.

The master bedroom is anchored by a custom TV unit composed of refined grey cabinetry, complemented by a black wall panel that provides depth, contrast, and a calm visual backdrop. The restrained palette enhances the spatial clarity while emphasizing the precision of the craftsmanship.

Within the living area, warm timber joinery introduces a sense of natural continuity and permanence. A bespoke TV unit extends the material language, while an open shelving divider subtly defines the transition between the living and dining spaces. Rather than creating a physical barrier, the intervention establishes a layered spatial relationship, preserving openness while introducing rhythm, storage, and visual permeability.

Throughout the project, a restrained palette of grey, black, and natural wood reinforces a timeless aesthetic, allowing material quality, proportion, and meticulous detailing to define the character of the interiors. Renovation of the Davalillo House in Aruba.

Davalillo House Upgrade is a residential renovation project focused on updating and modernizing the home’s exterior appearance. The scope of work included the redesign of the facades, introducing a contemporary aesthetic defined by clean lines, accent materials, and a refreshed color palette.

As part of the renovation, the existing exterior colors were replaced with neutral shades of white and gray, creating a more elegant, timeless, and sophisticated look. To add texture and visual interest, a natural stone accent wall was incorporated as a focal element within the architectural composition.

Additionally, the exterior lighting was enhanced through the strategic installation of wall-mounted lamps, highlighting key architectural features while improving functionality, safety, and nighttime curb appeal.

The result is a home with a renewed identity, combining materials, lighting, and color to create a modern, welcoming, and visually striking architectural presence.

Surrounding the table are chairs upholstered in soft light leather, providing comfort and support during meals. Their black legs complement the table, adding a sense of cohesion and understated elegance. Overhead, a pendant lamp with black trim and glass accents introduces a dynamic touch, enhancing the room’s sophisticated ambiance.

Serving as a focal point, the kitchen’s accent wall features vertical wooden profiles that add texture and depth to the space. This design element creates a harmonious connection with the wooden dining table while subtly defining the dining area and reinforcing the overall design continuity.

The living room features an extra-long sofa, two brown-toned lounge chairs that complement the wood accents beautifully, and a bench — all strategically positioned to offer both direct and indirect views of the patio. A central coffee table and side tables enhance functionality, making the space perfect for gatherings with family and friends. A beautiful Turkish rug ties the furniture ensemble together, adding warmth and inviting comfort, ensuring that guests feel at ease in this thoughtfully designed space for quality time.

In the TV area, we introduced another natural element to prevent the wood from feeling overwhelming. An accent wall in natural stone creates a harmonious balance, complemented by a furniture piece crafted from wood, glass, and black trim. This thoughtful combination achieves a perfect blend of textures and materials, adding depth and sophistication to the space.

This interior design emphasizes the harmony of diverse materials and textures, cultivating a serene, modern, and inviting atmosphere. The thoughtful blend of natural and contemporary elements strikes a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, seamlessly flowing throughout the home.

The solid wood dining table is paired with upholstered chairs in a natural hue, striking a perfect balance and creating a cozy, modern atmosphere. A pendant lamp with golden accents adds a sculptural and luxurious touch, elevating the space. Large windows invite natural light in and offer beautiful views of the outdoor garden, enhancing the overall ambiance.

At the junction between the common area and the bedroom, a console with a mirror serves to give hierarchy to this small space. The console functions as both a decorative and practical focal point, while the large wall mirror positioned above it enhances the sense of openness and light, creating a brighter and more spacious feel in the hallway.

The bedroom is crafted as a cozy, luxurious retreat, where warm tones, gold decorative accents, and soft ambient lighting combine to create an elegant and relaxing atmosphere. The blue accent chair adds a pop of personality and a modern touch, further enhancing the room’s inviting and stylish ambiance.
